Kodak Portra 400 - 35mm Color Film

Shot a whole roll at a family picnic and the skin tones came out beautifully natural, even in mixed shade. The 36 exposures gave me plenty of room to experiment with different lighting.

The skin tones come out so warm and natural that I barely had to edit anything. At ISO 400 I could shoot indoors near a window without flash, which is huge for me. The grain is fine enough that even the 36-exposure roll scans clean.

Shot a whole roll at a friend's outdoor wedding and the skin tones came out so warm and natural I barely touched them in editing. Even the indoor reception shots held up fine at 400.
