Frequently asked questions

What exactly is inside the Cute Camera Co. box?

You'll find the restored Canon Sure Shot Telemax camera, a fresh 35mm film roll, a new strap (color varies by option), two fresh batteries, a lens cap, and a quick-start guide. All items are packed securely with protective foam.

Is the camera ready to use right away?

Yes. The camera comes with batteries installed (remove the plastic tab before use) and a fresh roll of film loaded. Just set the lens to 38mm or 70mm, compose your shot, and press the shutter. The autofocus and exposure work automatically. Remove the battery tab and you're ready to shoot in seconds.

What kind of film does the kit include?

The kit includes one 36-exposure roll of ISO 400 color negative 35mm film, suitable for most daylight and indoor conditions. You can replace it with any standard 35mm film after finishing the roll.

Can I use rechargeable batteries?

The camera requires two CR123A lithium batteries, which are included. Rechargeable CR123A batteries also work, but their voltage may affect the motorized film advance speed. Stick with the included lithium cells for reliable operation. Use the included lithium CR123A batteries for best performance.

What if something is missing or damaged?

Contact Cute Camera Co. customer service within 30 days of delivery. Each kit is inspected before shipping, but if any item is missing or the camera shows damage, they will send a replacement or refund. Inspect your kit immediately upon arrival.
