Yashica Mat 124 G Description
The Yashica Mat-124G has welcomed generations into the quiet, waist-level magic of medium format, and we’ve lovingly restored this one so its beautiful square frames can hold the stories you notice next.
The Yashica Mat 124 G looks just as good as the photos it takes. Originally making its debut in 1970, you are not going to regret adding one of these to your collection. If you’re new to medium-format photography or just curious about trying something different, this camera is the perfect way to elevate your creative flair.
Why You'll Love It:
- Waist-Level Viewfinder: It feels totally unique! No more holding a camera to your face—just look down, frame your shot, and snap away. It’s comfortable and feels so retro-chic!
- Sharp Photos, Vintage Style: The fixed 80mm lens (a 50mm equivalent) gives you crystal-clear images with an old-school vibe. Perfect for those dreamy, artistic shots.
- Perfect for Street Photography: Want to capture candid moments without drawing too much attention? This camera’s waist-level viewfinder lets you be discreet.
- Budget-Friendly Alternative to other medium format cameras: Get high-end vibes without breaking the bank! It’s the ultimate gateway into medium-format photography for new photographers.
With the Yashica Mat 124 G, you're diving into the beautiful world of medium format. With larger negatives, better detail, and a more cinematic feel to your shots, the results that this camera produces will take your breath away.
