Nikon FM2 35mm Film Camera with 50mm F1.4 Lens
The Nikon FM2 is part of Cute Camera Co. Reserve, our collection of exceptional film cameras individually prepared for their next owner. Once your order is placed, we carefully select your Nikon FM2 from our reserve inventory and begin its final restoration. Cleaning, inspecting, testing, and servicing the camera and lens together before sending them home to you.
Released in 1982, the Nikon FM2 is a fully mechanical 35mm film camera built for photographers who want to slow down, take control, and become part of the picture-making process. You choose the aperture. You choose the shutter speed. You focus the lens. Then, with one unmistakably satisfying click, you make the photograph.
A camera this iconic should arrive without the usual vintage-camera uncertainty. Every Nikon FM2 we sell is individually inspected, professionally restored, tested, and cleaned by our team. We check the camera’s shutter operation, light meter, film transport, viewfinder, light seals, and essential controls. We also inspect and test the included lens, completing the service each individual camera needs before it is approved.
Why You’ll Love It
- A True Mechanical Classic: Every shutter speed works without batteries, giving you a beautifully dependable and tactile photography experience.
- Manual Photography Made Clear: Simple viewfinder indicators help you find the right exposure while teaching you how aperture and shutter speed work together.
- An Extraordinary 1/4000-Second Shutter: Freeze fast movement or use dreamy wider apertures even in bright daylight.
- A Beautiful 50mm f/1.4 Lens: The included Nikkor lens is wonderful for portraits, travel, lower-light photographs, and softly blurred backgrounds.
-
Restored with Love at Cute Camera Co: Every Nikon FM2 is lovingly restored by the Cute Camera Co. team so it works just like it did back in the summer of 1982.
