Nikon FE | 35mm Film Camera

Nikon FE 35mm Film Camera with 50mm F1.4 Lens

The Nikon FE is part of Cute Camera Co. Reserve, our collection of exceptional film cameras individually prepared for their next owner. Once your order is placed, we carefully select your Nikon FE from our reserve inventory and begin its final restoration. Cleaning, inspecting, testing, and servicing the camera and lens together before sending them home to you.

Introduced in 1978, the Nikon FE became one of Nikon’s most beloved 35mm film cameras by finding the perfect balance between creative control and everyday ease. It feels beautifully mechanical in your hands, but it's aperture-priority automatic exposure mode makes it wonderfully approachable.

Your Nikon FE comes with a Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 lens—a bright, beautifully versatile lens that can easily become the one you use for almost everything. Its natural perspective is lovely for portraits, travel, street photography, slow Sunday mornings, best friends across the dinner table, and all the little details you never want to forget.

Why You’ll Love It

• Restored for Your Order: Your Nikon FE receives its final inspection, cleaning, testing, and servicing after your order is placed.
• Easy When You Want It to Be: In aperture-priority mode, you choose the aperture and the camera automatically selects the shutter speed.
• Full Creative Control: Switch to manual exposure whenever you want to take charge of both aperture and shutter speed.
• A Dreamy 50mm f/1.4 Lens: The included Nikkor lens is bright, versatile, and wonderful for portraits, travel, everyday photographs, and beautifully soft backgrounds.
• A Viewfinder That Helps You Learn: Nikon’s match-needle display makes exposure easy to understand without taking your eye away from the photograph.
• A Little Mechanical Reassurance: If the batteries run out, the FE still provides mechanical M90 and Bulb shutter settings.
• Room for Your Photography to Grow: The Nikon F mount gives you access to an enormous family of celebrated Nikkor lenses.
• A Genuine Nikon Classic: Its tactile controls, compact SLR body, and timeless design have made the FE a favorite for generations.
• Restored with Love at Cute Camera Co: Every Nikon FE is lovingly restored by the Cute Camera Co. team so it works just like it did back in the summer of 1978.
